On the Pseudo-Schrödinger Equation Approximation of the Transfer-Integral Operator for 1-Dimensional DNA Models

The Transfer-Integral (TI) operator is a powerful method to investigate the statistical physics of 1-dimensional models, like those used describe DNA denaturation. At cost certain number approximations, TI equation can be reduced Pseudo-Schr\"odinger Equation (PSE), according which sequence equivalent point particle moving in potential well. In this paper, I check validity standard PSE approximation for two different and show that it fails provide correct results both them. then propose generalized PSE, works well one models. Finally, discuss description denaturation derived from PSE.
